Kulgam, July 17 (JKNS): Continuing its intensified drive against drug trafficking under the ongoing 100-Day Nasha Mukt Campaign, Kulgam Police, in coordination with the Revenue Department, has attached a residential property worth approximately ₹1.63 crore belonging to an alleged drug peddler involved in multiple NDPS cases, officials said on Friday.

As per news agency JKNS, Kulgam Police, through Police Station Yaripora and in coordination with the Revenue Department, attached a two-storeyed residential house worth approximately ₹1.63 crore belonging to Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat S/o Gh. Nabi Bhat R/o Tantarypora, under the relevant provisions of law pursuant to the orders of the competent authority.

The accused is involved in four NDPS cases, namely FIR No. 79/2010 of PS Shopian, FIR No. 110/2016 of PS Yaripora, FIR No. 184/2022 of PS Shopian, and FIR No. 47/2025 of PS Yaripora, respectively.

Kulgam Police reaffirmed its commitment to dismantling the financial infrastructure of drug traffickers and taking strict action against those involved in narcotics-related activities, while urging the public to continue supporting the police by sharing information about drug-related offences.
