Budgam, July 25 (JKNS): Director General of Police (DGP) J&K Nalin Prabhat on Friday visited the residence of martyred Head Constable Ashiq Hussain Qureshi in Budgam to offer condolences to the bereaved family, while later chairing a high-level operational and security review meeting with senior officers, directing them to further strengthen the security grid and ensure effective public service across Jammu and Kashmir.
Director General of Police, J&K, Nalin Prabhat (IPS), Inspector General of Police, Kashmir Zone, V.K. Birdi (IPS), Deputy Inspector General of Police, Central Kashmir Range, Rajiv Pandey (IPS), Senior Superintendent of Police, Budgam, Hariprasad K.K. (IPS), Additional Superintendent of Police, Budgam, Sajjad Hussain, along with SDPO Magam, Mohd Ashrif Lissery, and other police officers, today visited the residence of the slain Head Constable to offer their heartfelt condolences and stand in solidarity with the bereaved family.
During the visit, the senior officers also visited the SDPO Office, Magam, where they chaired an operational and security review meeting with officers.
They issued necessary directions for maintaining law and order and enhancing security grid and ensuring better public service to the people of Jammu & Kashmir with sincerity and dedication. (JKNS)
