Srinagar, July 31 (JKNS): Three persons sustained burn injuries after a gas cylinder leaked and caught fire inside a hut in the Gund area of Ganderbal district on Friday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the injured were initially taken to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Kangan and were later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialised treatment.
The fire broke out after a gas cylinder leak inside the hut, resulting in burn injuries to the three occupants.
The condition of all the injured is stable, and they are undergoing treatment at SKIMS.
Meanwhile, police have taken cognizance of the incident, and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the gas leak and fire. (JKNS)
