Kupwara, Aug 3 (JKNS): Students of Army Goodwill School (AGS) Wayne, Kupwara, delivered an impressive performance at the Inter AGS Quiz Competition held at Army Goodwill School Hajinar, Tangdhar, on Monday, earning appreciation for their knowledge and teamwork.
The competition was organised to commemorate the heroes of the Kargil War while promoting patriotism, national pride and awareness among students from border areas.
A total of 40 students representing six Army Goodwill Schools participated in the event. AGS Wayne was represented by eight students, divided into two teams. Group-I consisted of students from Classes VI to VIII, while Group-II included students from Classes IX and X.
Displaying confidence, quick thinking and a strong understanding of the quiz topics, both teams from AGS Wayne performed exceptionally well, bringing laurels to their school and making Kupwara proud.
The achievement reflects AGS Wayne’s commitment to academic excellence, personality development and general awareness.
The event also highlighted the Indian Army’s continued efforts through Army Goodwill Schools to encourage learning, leadership and patriotic values among students living in remote border regions of Kupwara district. (JKNS)
