Srinagar, Aug 4 (JKNS): A 55-year-old man lost his life after being hit by a motorcycle in the Baniyari area of Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district on Tuesday afternoon, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the accident occurred in the afternoon hours, when Abdul Rehman Shunglu (55) was struck by a motorcycle in Baniyari.
They said the injured man was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation to ascertain the circumstances leading to the accident. (JKNS)
