Srinagar, Aug 7 (JKNS): A 24-year-old married youth was found dead at his residence in the Rehmat Abad Hardushiva area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district, officials said on Friday.
Officials told the news agency JKNS that the deceased was a resident of Rehmat Abad Hardushiva, Sopore.
They said the body was recovered by a team from Police Station Bomai and shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Sopore for medico-legal formalities, including a post-mortem examination.
Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation to ascertain the cause and circumstances surrounding the death.
Notably, this is the second such incident reported from the Sopore area in the past 12 days. Earlier, a 22-year-old youth from Dangerpora, Sopore, was found dead in Pal Mohalla, Dangerpora.
Further investigation into the incident is underway. (JKNS)
