Budgam Aug 11 (JKNS): A Majlis-e-Aza was organised at Yagipora Magam by the Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian to commemorate the Wisaal of the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) and the martyrdom of Imam Hassan Mujtaba (AS). Thousands of devotees participated in the religious gathering.

Addressing the Majlis, President of the Jammu and Kashmir Anjuman-e-Sharie Shian, Hujjat-ul-Islam wal-Muslimeen Aga Syed Hassan Al-Moosavi Al-Safavi, highlighted the significance, virtues and spiritual impact of Salawat upon the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and his Ahl-e-Bait (AS). He said that the Holy Quran commands believers to send blessings and salutations upon the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

Aga Syed Hassan said that Salawat is not merely a supplication but also an expression of love and devotion towards the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and attachment to the Ahl-e-Bait (AS). He said the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) holds the highest position among all prophets and messengers and his blessed life is a perfect example of guidance, morality, piety, patience, truthfulness, honesty, generosity and noble character for all humanity.

He urged believers to incorporate the Seerat of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the teachings of the Ahl-e-Bait (AS) into their practical lives and draw guidance from these sacred teachings to improve their individual and collective lives.

Aga Syed Hassan said that remembering the Holy Prophet (PBUH) and the Ahl-e-Bait (AS), and reciting Salawat upon them, is a source of reward and divine mercy. Stressing the special importance of Salawat-e-Muhammad-o-Aal-e-Muhammad in prayers and other acts of worship, he urged believers to consciously make Salawat a regular part of their daily lives.

Speaking about various aspects of the Seerat-e-Nabawi (PBUH), he said that the fundamental purpose of the mission of the prophets was to guide humanity, provide moral and spiritual training, and save people from misguidance and loss. He said the Holy Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH) presented an unparalleled model of sublime morality and perfect human character that remains a beacon of guidance for the entire humanity.

Referring to the tragedy of Karbala and the great sacrifice of Imam Hussain (AS), Aga Syed Hassan said that Karbala represents an eternal lesson of patience, steadfastness, sacrifice and commitment to truth and righteousness. He said Imam Hussain (AS) and the martyrs of Karbala made unparalleled sacrifices to safeguard faith, truth and principles, and their memory should not be confined merely to mourning and lamentation; rather, their great message must be reflected in practical life.

He said Karbala teaches believers to remain steadfast in the face of oppression, support the truth, stand with the oppressed and remain firm on principles. He urged the faithful to draw guidance from the life of Prophet Muhammad Mustafa (PBUH), the teachings of the Ahl-e-Bait (AS) and the message of Karbala, making piety, morality, truthfulness, justice, sacrifice and support for the oppressed the guiding principles of their lives.

At the conclusion of the Majlis, special prayers were offered for peace and security, the welfare of the country and the Muslim Ummah, and the progress and prosperity of humanity. (JKNS)
