Srinagar, Aug 15 (JKNS): BJP General Secretary (Organisation) Ashok Koul hoisted the National Flag at the BJP headquarters at S-1 Church Lane and the party office at J-53 Jawahar Nagar, Srinagar, on the occasion of Independence Day BJP General Secretary Mohd Anwar Khan was the Guest of Honour on the occasion.
Party leaders and workers participated in the flag-hoisting ceremonies and reaffirmed their commitment to the ideals of the nation.
Addressing the gathering, Ashok Koul paid rich tributes to the freedom fighters who made immense sacrifices during India’s freedom struggle. He recalled their courage, dedication and patriotism, stating that the nation will always remain indebted to those who sacrificed their lives for India’s independence. The celebrations concluded with a renewed pledge to uphold national unity, integrity and the spirit of patriotism.
