Bandipora, Aug 19 (JKNS): A 22-year-old youth died after sustaining serious injuries in a road accident involving two motorcycle riders in Hajin area of Sonawari in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

An official told news agency JKNS that, the deceased was identified as Yawar Ahmad of Sodnara, Sonawari, who was seriously injured in the accident and shifted to Srinagar for treatment.

However, doctors later declared him dead.

Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated. (JKNS)
