Srinagar, Aug 27 (JKNS): Former Srinagar Municipal Corporation (SMC) Commissioner and KAS officer Gazanfar Ali passed away on Thursday, leaving the administrative fraternity and acquaintances in deep shock.
Gazanfar Ali had reportedly suffered a heart attack earlier in May and had been undergoing treatment.
He had served as Commissioner of the Srinagar Municipal Corporation and held various important administrative assignments during his career.
His demise was mourned by colleagues, officials and people who had known him during his years of public service.
