Budgam, Aug 28 (JKNS): A grand Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ religious rally was organised by Kulyatul Sultania in Budgam to commemorate the blessed birth anniversary of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
The rally was organised under the leadership of Islamic scholars Mufti Gulzar Ahmad and Peer Zafar, with the participation of local residents, devotees, followers and religious scholars.
The programme aimed to highlight the teachings, noble character and exemplary life of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH), while spreading the message of peace, love, unity, brotherhood and communal harmony.
The procession commenced from Chananowpora and passed through Najan, Sonpah, Kandoora, Aarizal, Raiyaar and Yaarkha, before culminating at Waterhail.
A large number of devotees and followers participated in the religious procession, which sought to strengthen the spirit of religious harmony, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence in society.
Speaking on the occasion, the organisers emphasised that Milad-un-Nabi ﷺ provides an opportunity for people to reflect upon the Prophet Muhammad’s (PBUH) message of compassion, forgiveness, justice, tolerance, love and service to humanity.
They called upon participants to maintain unity and brotherhood throughout the rally and appealed to all sections of society to work together for peace, communal harmony and peaceful coexistence.
