Budgam, Aug 31 (JKNS): A 20-year-old youth died after coming under a truck in a road accident at Wathwoora area of Chadoora in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Monday, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that, the deceased has been identified as Faheem Ahmad, son of Mushtaq Ahmad Wani, a resident of Wathwoora, Chadoora.
Officials said Faheem sustained critical injuries in the accident and was immediately shifted to Sub-District Hospital (SDH) Chadoora for treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital declared him brought dead, officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and further investigation is underway. (JKNS)
