Srinagar, Sept 1 (JKNS): An unidentified scooty rider was killed in a road accident after his two-wheeler collided with a tipper near Government Degree College Bemina in Srinagar on Tuesday evening, officials said.
An official told news agency JKNS that the accident involved a scooty bearing registration number JK01AW-9883 and an unidentified tipper.
The rider sustained critical injuries in the collision and succumbed to his injuries at the spot, the official said.
Following the incident, personnel from concerned police station reached the site and took cognisance of the matter.
The identity of the deceased and further circumstances leading to the accident are being ascertained.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation initiated.(JKNS)
