Anantnag Police, in a continued drive against drug trafficking, apprehended a drug peddler during routine checking near the Sports Stadium, Anantnag.
Police party from Police Station Anantnag apprehended one person identified as Ajaz Ahmad Malik S/o Dilwar Malik R/o Old Qazibagh, Mattan Chowk, Anantnag. During his search, 3.15 grams of heroin and 4.44 grams of charas were recovered from his possession.
In this regard, Case FIR No. 301/2026 under Sections 8/20, 21 NDPS Act has been registered at Police Station Anantnag, and investigation has been taken up.
