Udhampur, Sep 17 (JKNS): Two terrorists were neutralised in a joint intelligence-based counter-terrorism operation in the Brattal area of Udhampur during the intervening night of September 16 and 17.
The Indian Army’s White Knight Corps said in a post on X, as per news agency JKNS said that, confirmed inputs regarding the presence of terrorists in the area led troops of White Knight Corps, J&K Police and CRPF to launch a targeted operation despite hostile weather, difficult terrain and poor visibility.
The operation remains in progress, with search and surveillance operations continuing in the area to track any remaining threat, the Army said.
Security forces remain deployed in the area as the operation continues. (JKNS)
