Ganderbal, Sept 21 (JKNS): As part of the Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, a painting competition on the theme ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’ was organised today at Vijay Memorial School, Ganderbal, providing students an opportunity to showcase their creativity, imagination and vision for the India they aspire to see in the future.
BJP Jammu & Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) attended the programme as the chief guest.
He was accompanied by BJP J&K Vice President Dr. Shehnaz Ganai; BJP J&K General Secretaries Mohammad Anwar Khan and Gopal Mahajan; State Secretary and Prabhari Arif Raja; and Ganderbal District President Ghulam Hassan.
Sat Sharma felicitated the students who participated in the competition and appreciated their creativity, enthusiasm and active participation.
He interacted with the students and encouraged them to pursue their aspirations with dedication, creativity and a strong sense of responsibility towards the nation.
Addressing the gathering, Sat Sharma highlighted various achievements and development initiatives of the Modi Government, referring to developments in infrastructure, education, technology, connectivity and opportunities for the youth.
He emphasised the importance of empowering the younger generation to become active contributors to India’s journey towards becoming a developed nation.
He said that the ‘Mere Sapno Ka Bharat’ initiative provides students with a platform to express their vision and aspirations for the India they wish to see in the future.
He appreciated Vijay Memorial School, Ganderbal, for hosting the programme and providing students with an environment that encourages creativity, confidence and civic engagement.
Sat Sharma stressed that the dreams and aspirations of young Indians will play an important role in shaping the country’s future.
He encouraged the students to continue developing their talents and to contribute positively to society and the nation.
The programme was organised as part of the month-long Seva Sankalp Abhiyan, under which BJP Jammu & Kashmir is conducting a series of public outreach and community-oriented activities across the Union Territory.
The campaign includes programmes aimed at promoting public participation, service and engagement with different sections of society, with particular emphasis on youth participation. (JKNS)
