Ramban, Oct 1 (JKNS): A West Bengal-registered sleeper bus overturned inside a tunnel in Ramban district while travelling from Srinagar towards Jammu, leaving around 25 passengers with minor injuries, officials said.
Officials told news agency JKNS that, the bus, bearing registration number WB39K-2929, was carrying 55 passengers against its seating capacity of 58 when it overturned inside the tunnel.
Officials said the injured passengers were shifted to District Hospital Ramban for treatment.
The single carriageway through the tunnel has remained open for movement of traffic, while police and civil administration officials are present at the spot. (JKNS)
