Ganderbal, Oct 2 (JKNS): The Central University of Kashmir has attached Dr. Chinnappan Bhaskar, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry, with the office of the Dean Academic Affairs pending completion of an enquiry into a complaint against him.

As per an order issued by the university administration, a copy of which lies with news agency JKNS stated that, Dr. Bhaskar has been relieved of all departmental and official assignments, including the Headship of the Chemistry Department, with immediate effect.

Consequently, Dr. Prashant Kumar Gupta, Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry, has been nominated as the coordinator of the department until further orders. (JKNS)
