Srinagar, Oct 4 (JKNS): Army Commander Northern Command Lt Gen Pratik Sharma on Sunday visited a Rashtriya Rifles unit in south Kashmir and reviewed the prevailing security situation in the region.
In a post on social media platform X, as per news agency JKNS, the Army said Lt Gen Pratik Sharma reviewed the security situation and commended the troops for their professionalism and operational excellence.
The Army Commander also stressed the need for continued vigilance and synergy in efforts to maintain peace in the region, the post said.
The visit comes amid continued security efforts by the forces in south Kashmir. (JKNS)
