Srinagar, Oct 9 (JKNS): The two youths from Srinagar who went missing after losing their way while trekking in the Rayil Gund forest area of Ganderbal district have been traced at Rayil Bridge, officials said on Friday.

An official told news agency JKNS, The youths, identified as Huzair and Minaan, had reportedly lost their way in the forest on Thursday and contacted the Dial 112 emergency helpline seeking assistance.

Following the information, teams from the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) unit at Gund, Gund Police Station and the Dial 112 unit launched a search operation to trace them.

The two youths were subsequently traced at Rayil Bridge in Ganderbal, bringing relief to their families. (JKNS)
