Srinagar, October 11 (JKNS): As part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade 2026, a National Motorcycle Rally carrying the message of a drug-free India is traversing the country, with the Ladakh Police contingent scheduled to reach Srinagar on Sunday.
As per news agency JKNS, As part of the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade 2026, a National Motorcycle Rally is being organised to promote national unity and spread awareness about the harmful effects of drug abuse under the theme “FIGHT AGAINST DRUGS.”
Police contingents from all States and Union Territories are participating in this nationwide initiative, carrying the message of a drug-free India across the country.
Representing the northernmost region of the country, the Ladakh Police contingent was flagged off from Leh Main Market on 10.10.2026 and is scheduled to reach Srinagar on 11.10.2026. Subsequently, the joint contingent of Jammu & Kashmir Police and Ladakh Police will be flagged off from Srinagar on 12.10.2026, commencing the next leg of the rally.
The rally will traverse different parts of the country, spreading awareness about the dangers of drug abuse and encouraging collective action against the drug menace. The participating contingents will ultimately converge at Ekta Nagar, Gujarat, for the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Parade on 31.10.2026, reaffirming the spirit of national unity, solidarity and collective responsibility towards building a drug-free India.
The National Motorcycle Rally 2026 symbolises the commitment of police forces across the country to safeguarding society from the menace of drugs while strengthening the message of Ek Bharat, Shreshtha Bharat. (JKNS)
