Beerwah, Budgam: A National Lok Adalat was held at the Court Complex Beerwah, organised by the Tehsil Legal Services Committee (TLSC), Beerwah, under the overall supervision of Towfeel Ahmad Mir Special Mobile Magistrate, Beerwah.
The Lok Adalat was conducted under the chairmanship Towfeel Ahmad Mir Special Mobile Magistrate, Beerwah, with the participation of Panel Lawyer Advocate Naseer Ahmad Khan. Several cheque bounce cases were taken up for consideration during the proceedings.
The initiative aimed to facilitate the amicable settlement of disputes and provide litigants with an accessible and speedy mechanism for resolving pending cases. The proceedings focused on addressing cheque bounce matters through mutual understanding and settlement, wherever possible.
National Lok Adalats play an important role in reducing the burden on courts by encouraging the settlement of disputes through an alternative dispute resolution mechanism. They also help litigants save time and expenses associated with prolonged legal proceedings.
