Anantnag, Oct 23 (JKNS): Secretary, Jammu and Kashmir Sports Council, Tazayun Mukhtar, JKAS, today visited various sports facilities in Anantnag district to review the status of ongoing infrastructure development works and assess the progress of projects being executed under the Special Assistance to States for Capital Investment (SASCI) initiative.
During the visit, as per news agency JKNS, the Secretary inspected various sports facilities being developed in the district, which include Sports Stadium Mehndi Kadal, Sports Playfield Monghal, Multi-Sports Stadium Nillandrusoo, Sports Facility Tarbal, and Playfield at Jablipora.
During the visit, the Secretary reviewed the progress of ongoing works, assessed ground-level operational requirements, and interacted with the field staff.
The visit underscores the administration’s focus on ensuring the quality and timely completion of key sports projects. These initiatives aim to provide local youth and aspiring athletes with modern, high-standard sports facilities to foster athletic talent and enable performance excellence at state and national levels.
