Srinagar, Nov 4 (JKNS): Three workers were injured in an incident at the Uri Phase-II Tunnel Project and were subsequently shifted to Government Medical College (GMC) Baramulla for treatment, officials said.
The injured have been identified as Abdul Karim Ganaie and Shukar Din, both residents of Garkote, and Chiez Ahmad Mugal, a resident of Bandi, officials told news agency JKNS.
Officials said all three injured workers are reportedly out of danger. However, one of them has sustained a fracture and requires surgery.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken. (JKNS)
