Srinagar, Apr 21 (JKNS): Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education on Tuesday announced the results of the Class 10th Annual Regular Examination for the March–April 2026 session in Jammu Division, registering an overall pass percentage of 88.85 percent.
According to the official details available with news agency JKNS, a total of 50,754 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 45,094 candidates successfully qualified, while 5,650 students were unable to clear the exams.
The result figures show that girls have once again outperformed boys by securing a pass percentage of 90.42 percent, whereas boys recorded 87.51 percent, maintaining the trend of better academic performance by female students.
Officials said that the results indicate steady improvement in academic standards across the division, with strong performances recorded in core subjects as well as in additional and vocational streams, reflecting broader participation and consistent outcomes.
The annual regular 2026 examination for secondary school (Jammu Division) was conducted from February 12 to March 10, 2026. (JKNS)
