Keran, Apr 28 (JKNS): In a strong step towards building a drug-free society, the Indian Army, in association with students from Government School Kundian, Mandian, and Keran villages, successfully organized a heartfelt “Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan” awareness programme in Keran sector.

The initiative witnessed enthusiastic participation from more than 250 school children, teachers, and local civilians, who united with one powerful message: “Say No to Drugs, Say Yes to Life.”

The programme began with a motivational awareness session highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse on youth, families, and society. Soldiers and teachers encouraged the younger generation to become ambassadors of change and guardians of a healthy future.

A door-to-door awareness rally was later conducted by the students, who raised energetic slogans and interacted with residents, spreading the message of a drug-free and healthy community. Their voices echoed through the village streets with slogans such as:

“Drugs Destroy Dreams”

“Healthy Youth, Strong Nation”

“Together We Can End Drug Abuse”

The participation of children brought emotional strength and hope to the campaign, reflecting the commitment of the young generation to protect their future and their nation.

This meaningful initiative not only created awareness but also strengthened the bond between the Army and the local community. The campaign reinforced the shared responsibility of society to protect youth from the dangers of substance abuse.

The event concluded with a pledge taken by students and villagers to remain vigilant and continue spreading awareness against drugs in their surroundings. (JKNS)
