Bandipora, May 9 (JKNS): A workers’ meeting of the Apni Party was held at Khosa Mohalla Hajin in north Kashmir’s Bandipora district, during which several prominent workers associated with the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) joined the Apni Party.
The meeting was presided over by senior Apni Party leader Imtiyaz Parry and was attended by other party leaders and local workers.
Speaking on the occasion, Imtiyaz Parry said that since the formation of the National Conference (NC) government, Hajin has witnessed a lack of development and no major project has been introduced for the area. He alleged that the people of Hajin continue to face neglect despite repeated promises.
He further expressed confidence regarding the upcoming Urban Local Bodies (ULB) elections, stating that the Apni Party has gained strong public support in Hajin and no political party would be able to compete with them in the area. (JKNS)
