Srinagar, May 18 (JKNS): Adbi Markaz Kamraz Jammu and Kashmir has invited entries for its “Best Book Award – 2025” aimed at promoting quality literature in the Kashmiri language.
As per the notice, the awards will be presented during the organisation’s Annual Conference and are open exclusively to writers and poets belonging to the Kamraz region, including the districts of Baramulla, Bandipora, Kupwara and Ganderbal.
The organisation has asked interested authors to submit three copies of their books published during the years 2022, 2023 and 2024 for consideration under different categories.
The award categories include Creative Writing, Research-based Writing, Critical Prose and Poetry.
The notice further states that authors whose books have already received awards from Jammu and Kashmir Academy of Art, Culture and Languages, Sahitya Akademi or any other registered literary forum shall not be eligible for the award.

The last date for submission of entries has been fixed as June 5, 2026.
Secretary of Adbi Markaz Kamraz, Farooq Shaheen, has urged all interested writers to submit their books at the earliest. (JKNS)
