Budgam, May 20 (JKNS): A six-year-old boy allegedly drowned in a stream near his residence in Gund Shahi Tiploo area of central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Wednesday evening.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the minor accidentally fell into a nearby stream, following which family members rushed him to PHC Hardpanzoo for treatment.
However, doctors at the hospital declared the child brought dead on arrival, officials said.
Police have taken cognisance of the incident and initiated further proceedings in the matter. (JKNS)
