Srinagar, June 29 (JKNS): As part of its ongoing Reach-Out Programme across Jammu & Kashmir, the central delegation of the Private Schools Association of Jammu & Kashmir (PSAJK), led by president Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam, visited the Chenab Valley and participated in the Golden Jubilee celebrations of Green Model Higher Secondary School, Doda, and Swiss International School, Bhaderwah.

During the visit, the PSAJK delegation also held an extensive meeting with the executive members of the Chenab Valley unit of the Association at Doda.

The meeting witnessed detailed deliberations on the challenges confronting private schools in the region, particularly issues relating to NOCs, regulatory compliance, administrative bottlenecks, and the need for a more transparent and facilitative educational ecosystem.

Dr. Baba Nazrul Islam assured the participants that the Association would continue to engage constructively with the Government to seek practical and timely solutions to the issues affecting private educational institutions.

He emphasized that private schools are key stakeholders in the education sector and deserve a supportive policy environment to enable them to deliver quality education.

A significant part of the discussion focused on developing a collaborative learning programme among member schools of the Chenab Valley.

The participants agreed to strengthen academic cooperation through teacher capacity building, exchange of best practices, student enrichment initiatives, leadership development, and joint educational activities aimed at improving learning outcomes across the region.

The executive members appreciated the PSAJK leadership for initiating the Reach-Out Programme, stating that such direct interaction with grassroots stakeholders would strengthen unity within the Association and help address district-specific concerns more effectively.

The meeting concluded with a collective resolve to work together for the advancement of quality, inclusive, and holistic education while safeguarding the interests of students, parents, teachers, and private educational institutions throughout the Chenab Valley. (JKNS)
