Jammu, Aug 9 (JKNS): At least 25 students mostly girls were injured after a mini-bus overturned near the Super Speciality Hospital (SSH) flyover in Jammu on Sunday.
Official sources told news agency JKNS that the vehicle lost control and turned turtle, resulting in injuries to the students travelling onboard.
All the injured were shifted to Government Medical College (GMC), Jammu, for medical treatment. Their condition is stated to be stable and they are reported to be out of danger.
Cognizance of the incident has been taken and further investigation has been initiated.
Meanwhile, the Office of the J&K Chief Minister, in a post on X, said that the Chief Minister expressed deep anguish over the road accident involving a matador carrying over 25 girls on the flyover near the Super Speciality Hospital, Jammu.
The Chief Minister said the injured were promptly provided medical attention and were reported to be out of danger.
He wished them a speedy recovery and directed the authorities concerned to ensure all necessary medical care and assistance. (JKNS)
