Karnah Kupwara(JKNS): Around 300 Students, Teachers and Community Members Participate; Dignitaries Praise Students and School Team for Meaningful Programme

Karnah, August 29: A grand Seerat-e-Paak Conference was organised at Iqra Model Public School, Kandi, Karnah, with the participation of around 300 students, teachers, parents, community members and distinguished personalities.

The programme was organised to highlight the blessed life, noble character, teachings and message of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students, who presented a series of programmes including Naat-e-Sharif, speeches, talks, presentations and other activities based on the Seerat of the Holy Prophet ﷺ.

The students presented their performances with devotion, confidence and enthusiasm. Their presentations focused on the exemplary character of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the importance of incorporating his teachings into daily life. The performances were warmly appreciated by the guests, teachers, parents and members of the audience.

The programme was conducted under the guidance and support of Principal Ishfaq Ahmad Mir and Chairperson Musarrat Bano, who encouraged the students to participate actively and highlighted the importance of moral education alongside academic learning. The school management appreciated the dedication and hard work of the students and teachers in preparing the programme.

The Chief Guest, Qazi Abdul Hamid, retired Principal of Higher Secondary School and a prominent personality of Karnah, addressed the gathering and spoke about the importance of understanding and following the Seerat of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ. He emphasised that the life of the Holy Prophet ﷺ provides guidance on compassion, honesty, justice, patience, brotherhood and respect for humanity.

Qazi Abdul Hamid appreciated the school management and teaching staff for providing students with a platform to express their knowledge and talent. He also congratulated the students for their impressive presentations and encouraged them to continue learning and practising the noble values taught by the Prophet ﷺ.

A number of prominent personalities from different fields were present at the conference. These included Haider Nadeem, retired teacher, poet and writer; Station House Officer Muhammad Ashraf; former Physical Education Teacher Raja Nazir; Advocate Mehboob Ilahi; and Mufti Tahir Naqash, besides other respected personalities from the administration, police, education, legal and social sectors.

Ishfaq Sayeed, Chairman of the All Private Schools Association, was also present on the occasion. He appreciated the efforts of the school management, teachers and students for organising the Seerat-e-Paak Conference. He particularly praised the students for their enthusiastic participation and said that such programmes provide young people with an opportunity to learn important moral and social values.

The speakers at the conference highlighted various aspects of the life of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and emphasised the importance of peace, compassion, honesty, brotherhood, justice, kindness, respect for elders and service to humanity. They encouraged students to make these values an integral part of their personal and social lives.

Dr. A. R. Lone, Director and Chairperson of Roshan Kal Welfare Foundation, was also present at the event and appreciated the initiative taken by the school. He praised the students for their confidence and performances and commended the school team for organising a programme focused on moral and value-based education.

Members of the Radio Rooh-e-Karnah 88.4 FM media team were also present to cover the conference and document the participation and performances of the students. The media team interacted with participants and highlighted the efforts of the school in organising the event.

The conference provided students with an opportunity to showcase their public-speaking skills, creativity and understanding of the Seerat-e-Paak. The dignitaries and audience members appreciated the efforts of the students and teachers and described the programme as a beautiful, meaningful and well-organised initiative.

The organisers expressed gratitude to all the dignitaries, parents, teachers, students, administration and police representatives, media personnel and community members for attending the programme and extending their support.

The event concluded with prayers for peace, prosperity, communal harmony and the well-being of society, with the organisers reiterating their commitment to providing students with education rooted in knowledge, character and positive values.(JKNS)
