Villgam: Handwara, Aug 29 (JKNS): Police Station Villgam organised a “Run for Unity” event to commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, with enthusiastic participation from students of various schools in the area.
The event witnessed active participation by students, who joined the run with great enthusiasm and displayed a strong spirit of unity, discipline and togetherness.
Speaking on the occasion, SHO Police Station Villgam, Mudasir Shafi, delivered an address and highlighted the importance of unity, discipline and national integration among the younger generation.
Prizes were also distributed among the students who secured first, second and third positions in the event.
The programme concluded successfully with a strong message of unity, national integration and collective responsibility.(JKNS)
