In a landmark initiative, today .(JKNS)Indian Army flagged in the Capacity Building Tour of girl students to Pune after successful completion under Operation Sadbhavana.
The girl students visited premier defence institutes in Pune the National Defence Academy (NDA), Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) and Army Institute of Technology (AIT) gaining firsthand exposure to careers in defence, medicine and engineering.
The students interacted with lady cadets, women officers, faculty and military leaders.
The tour empowered young Kashmiri girl students, inspired career aspiration in defence and strengthened the bond between Kashmiri youth and the Indian Army.(JKNS)
