Srinagar: Srinagar Police have cracked an extortion case in Firdousabad, Batamaloo, and arrested three accused individuals.
Police spokesperson in a statement issued here to JKNS reads that, Srinagar Police have cracked an extortion case in Firdousabad, Batamaloo, and arrested three accused individuals.
The accused have been identified as Ishfaq Ahmad Dar, also known as Ish Mut, son of Khursheed Ahmad Dar, a resident of Nishat Khaki Mohalla, Srinagar; Tahir Ahmad Mir, also known as 90, son of Sonaullah Mir, a resident of Bangladesh Colony Rainawari, currently residing at Palpora Noorbagh, Srinagar; and Arsalan Mushtaq Wandroo, also known as Karihul, son of Mushtaq Ahmad, a resident of Hasibath Rainawari, Srinagar, it reads.
The arrests come after a swift investigation by Srinagar Police, and further legal proceedings are underway. (JKNS)
