Karnah, Apr 4 (JKNS): In a significant step aimed at encouraging children towards sports and ensuring their overall development, the Department of Rural Development has established a modern Speedy Sports Children’s Park at Shatpala in Karnah.
The park was formally inaugurated today by the Block Development Officer (BDO) amid appreciation from local residents.
Speaking on the occasion, the BDO said that such parks provide children with healthy and positive recreational opportunities while playing an important role in their physical as well as mental growth.
He emphasized that the initiative reflects the department’s commitment to creating child-friendly spaces in rural areas.
The officer further stated that more such parks would be developed in different areas in the coming months so that a larger number of children can benefit from modern play and sports facilities.
Local residents warmly welcomed the initiative and expressed gratitude to the Department of Rural Development for bringing such a valuable developmental project to the area.
They also hoped that similar public welfare projects would continue in the future for the betterment of children and the community. (JKNS)
