Srinagar, Apr 17 (JKNS): Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS) is set to host the 6th Annual International Conference of the MP-PCOS Society titled “MOOD 2026”, bringing together leading experts to discuss emerging challenges in metabolic and endocrine disorders.
SKIMS Spokesperson in a statement issued here to news agency JKNS said, SKIMS is set to organise the 6th Annual (International) Conference of the MP-PCOS Society on April 18–19, 2026 at the SKIMS Auditorium.
The conference is being held under the guidance of Prof. M. Ashraf Ganie, Director SKIMS and President of the MP-PCOS Society. The theme for this year’s conference, “Metabolic Syndrome, Obesity, Ovarian Dysfunction and Diabetes (MOOD 2026)”, reflects the growing global concern around interconnected metabolic and endocrine disorders, particularly among women.
The two-day scientific event will bring together eminent international and national experts from across the country and abroad to deliberate on the latest advancements, research, and clinical practices in endocrinology and metabolic health.
The academic programme will feature invited talks, plenary lectures, panel discussions, and prestigious orations, providing a comprehensive platform for knowledge exchange. In addition, postgraduate students and young researchers will present their original research through oral and poster presentations, encouraging academic engagement and innovation.
