- Ganderbal Dec 11: The Department Of Youth Services & Sports organized a marathon run of young boys and girls on Saturday here. The inter-school Marathon run was conducted for under 14 years and 17 years age group categories. Student athletes were selected from different government and private educational institutions of Zone Ganderbal. It started from M. M. stadium and concluded at BHS shalabugh.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Ganderbal Shiekh Shafakat Iqbal flagged-off the event. More than 120 student Athletes participated in event. All the participants were encouraged by the senior officers and commoners for their enthusiastic participation in sports despite cold weather conditions.
