Srinagar: The 79th Battalion of the CRPF in Sonwar Srinagar, today, successfully organized the closing ceremony of its Human Resource Development activities under the Civic Action Program (SRESE) on December 12, 2024.
As per a statement issued to the news agency JKNS, the event took place at the Government Girls Higher Secondary School Sonwar and marked the successful completion of skill development training programs in Make-up Artist and Front Office Associate.
It reads as a total of 30 students completed the Make-up Artist training, while another 30 students graduated from the Front Office Associate program.
“Kishore Kumar, Commandant of the 79th Battalion, attended the ceremony and highlighted the initiative’s primary goal, noting enhancing the skills of the youth to build a better future. He said the Ministry of Home Affairs’ commitment to supporting such programs and reiterated CRPF’s dedication to addressing social responsibilities by empowering the youth within their Area of Responsibility,” reads the statement.
It reads as during his address, Kishore Kumar expressed gratitude to Mr. Abdul Hamid Fani, Director of School Education, Kashmir, and Nikhat Mir, Principal of the Government Girls Higher Secondary School, for their support and cooperation. He also appreciated the teachers and trainers for their efforts in nurturing the youth and contributing to the program’s success.—(JKNS)
