Sopore, Apr 16 (JKNS): The education community in Zone Dangerpora is in deep mourning following the demise of senior teacher Gh Hassan Ganie, who passed away at SKIMS Soura after a prolonged illness.
Gh Hassan Ganie had been suffering from cancer for the past several years. Despite sustained efforts by his family and well-wishers for his recovery, he breathed his last today, leaving behind a legacy of dedication and service in the field of education.
He was serving at Government High School Tujar Sharief, where he was known for his sincerity, discipline, and commitment towards his students and profession.
He is closely related to several known personalities in the area. He was the brother-in-law of Ab Razzaq Ganie and noted lecturer Gh Nabi Ganie of Mundji Zainageer, and cousin of teacher Aijaz Ahmad Ganie.
The Zonal Education Office (ZEO) and Teachers Forum have expressed heartfelt condolences, describing his demise as a great loss to the teaching fraternity. They prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul and strength to the bereaved family.
His Nimaz-e-Janaza will be offered at 2:30 PM at Logripora Sopore, where a large number of people are expected to attend and pay their last respects.
