Jammu, Apr 16 (JKNS): The Higher Education Department of Jammu and Kashmir has expressed profound grief over the untimely demise of a young student who lost her life in a tragic road accident near Udhampur, sending shockwaves across the academic fraternity.
In a statement issued here to news agency JKNS, HED-JK expresses profound grief and heartfelt sorrow over the untimely demise of Ms. Anjali Choudhary, a 4th Semester student of Government College for Women, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, who lost her life in a tragic road accident near Udhampur while travelling with fellow students to Patnitop.
A young life, full of promise and aspirations, has been lost far too soon, leaving the entire academic community in deep shock and mourning. The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are being ascertained.
Hon’ble Minister for Higher Education, expressed deep anguish over the tragedy and conveyed her heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, friends, and the entire college fraternity. She described the loss as deeply distressing and irreparable, and has directed to extend all possible assistance to the family in this hour of grief. She also prayed for eternal peace to the departed soul.
