The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from students through debates, essay writing, and painting competitions, providing them a platform to express their thoughts and creativity against substance abuse.
What is truly inspiring is the energy and conviction shown by the youth, who raised powerful slogans like ‘Say No to Drugs, Yes to Life.’ This reflects a growing awareness and collective resolve among young minds to build a healthier, drug-free society.
District Adminstration and Kulgam Police also emphasized the importance of community participation in curbing drug abuse and urged citizens, especially the youth, to share any information related to drug peddling or substance abuse. People can report such activities confidentially through the nearest police station or by contacting the district police helpline.
