Srinagar, Apr 24 (JKNS): The Indian Air Force on Friday termed as false the reports circulating on some media outlets and social media platforms claiming that an IAF aircraft had crashed near Kishtwar.
In a statement, issued here to news agency JKNS, an IAF spokesperson said that such reports are baseless and not true.
“There are certain media outlets and social media handles claiming an IAF aircraft has crashed near Kishtwar. This report is false,” the spokesperson said.
The IAF has urged all media organizations to verify information from official sources before publishing or transmitting such reports to avoid misinformation. (JKNS)
