Shopian, Apr 30 (JKNS): Continuing its sustained efforts to combat drug abuse and safeguard the future of youth, Shopian Police organized a series of impactful awareness programmes under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Jammu & Kashmir Abhiyaan.
Awareness sessions were conducted at Government Polytechnic College Imamsahib, Upper Primary School Nagbal Keller and Middle School Chakoo Hermain, witnessing active participation from students and teaching staff. The programmes sensitized young minds about the harmful effects of drug abuse, highlighting its physical, psychological, social and legal consequences, while motivating students to adopt a healthy, drug-free lifestyle and act as ambassadors of change within their communities.
In addition to the above, a rally was also organized in collaboration with Girls Higher Secondary School Heerpora, further reinforcing the message against drug abuse and promoting collective community responsibility.
Shopian Police reiterated its firm commitment to continue such awareness drives under the ongoing 100 Days Nasha Mukt J&K Abhiyaan, with the objective of building a safer, healthier and drug-free society. #SayYesToLife #NoToDrugs (JKNS)
