Shopian, Apr 30 (JKNS): The rescue operation to locate the body of a 4-year-old boy from Pulwama, who drowned in the Rambiara river at Dubjan, entered its fifth day on Thursday.
Teams from NDRF, SDRF, Police, and other departments are continuing an extensive search along the river stretch from Dubjan to Shopian under the close supervision of Mr. Shishir Gupta (IAS) DC Shopian and Mushtaq Ahmed (JKPS) SSP Shopian.
Local residents from Shopian and Pulwama are also actively assisting the rescue agencies in the ongoing search efforts.
Deputy Commissioner Shopian has provided 200 litres of diesel for machinery today and reiterated that he has been, and will continue to provide, every possible support to ensure the operation is carried out effectively. (JKNS)
