Cross Country Run Held in Sopore Under Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan*

Sopore, May 2 (JKNS): Amzet Hall Public School, on Friday in collaboration with the Zonal Physical Education Zone Dangerpora, successfully organized a Cross Country Run under the nationwide Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.

The run commenced from Botingoo Sopore and concluded at Amzet Hall Public-School-Malmapanpora Sopore.

 

The event aimed to raise awareness about drug abuse and promote the vision of a drug-free society.

 

DO Warpora, Rashid Khan, attended the event as the Chief Guest.The programme was also graced by Dr. Abrar Ahmad, Chairman of Amzet Hall Public School. ZPEO Shabir Ali, along with other dignitaries and staff members, was also present.

 

A large number of students participated enthusiastically in the run, demonstrating strong commitment to spreading awareness against drug addiction.

 

The event highlighted the importance of youth engagement in positive activities like sports and education.

 

Speaking on the occasion, the dignitaries applauded the efforts of the organizers and participants for addressing the pressing issue of drug abuse.

 

They encouraged young people to stay away from drugs and focus on constructive pursuits.

 

 

The school management and officials from Zone Dangerpora expressed their gratitude to all guests, participants, and staff members for making the event a success. (JKNS)
