Leh, May 14 (JKNS): The Administration of Union Territory of Ladakh on Thursday ordered the transfer and posting of JKAS officer Shabir Hussain as Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) Kargil.
According to Government Order No. 237-LA(GAD) of 2026 dated May 13, issued by the General Administration Department, as per news agency JKNS, the order has been passed in partial modification of earlier Government Order No. 186-LA(GAD) of 2026 dated April 3, 2026.
As per order, Shabir Hussain, JKAS, who was earlier assigned the additional charge of ADC Kargil, has now been formally transferred and posted as Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kargil, besides being assigned the charge of Nodal Officer, DILRMP, until further orders.
The administration also relieved him from the charge of Joint Director Information following the transfer and posting of Mohammad Taqi, JKAS, as Joint Director Information, Headquarters Kargil, vide Government Order No. 226-LA(GAD) of 2026 dated May 4, 2026. (JKNS)
