Budgam, Jun 24 (JKNS): In a remarkable display of devotion, compassion and community service, the Women’s Wing of JKECC, AAYAS Association Budgam on Wednesday organised a grand Sabeel for thousands of Hussaini mourners, distributing fruits, juice, lassi and milk as part of Muharram observances and in remembrance of the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
As per news agency JKNS, Women’s Wing of JKECC, AAYAS Association Budgam, organised a grand Sabeel for thousands of Hussaini Azadars at Budgam, serving fruits, juice, lassi, and milk in a spirit of devotion, service, and remembrance of the supreme sacrifice of Imam Hussain (A.S.).
The programme was graced by the President of JKECC and Chairman of JKTA, Mr. Shah Fayaz, who appreciated the noble initiative and commended the dedication and commitment of the women members of AAYAS Association Budgam in serving the Azadars during the holy month of Muharram.
Among the distinguished participants were Mr. Dar Aijaz Ahmad, Chief Spokesperson of JKECC/JKTA; Mr. Sareer Ahmad, Patron JKTA Budgam and Apex Member; and Mr. Mudasir Rashid, General Secretary JKECC/JKTA Budgam, who represented District President JKECC Budgam Mr. Mir Altaf Ahmad, who was engaged in official commitments elsewhere.
The event was organised under the leadership of Ms. Fehmeeda, District President of AAYAS Association Budgam, along with the active participation of the Zonal Presidents and members of the association.
Thousands of Hussaini Azadars were served throughout the day. Participants highly appreciated the organisers for their hospitality, dedication, and commitment to the values of sacrifice, compassion, and humanity exemplified by Imam Hussain (A.S.).
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Shah Fayaz, President JKECC and Chairman JKTA, said that the Sabeel reflects the true teachings of Islam and the timeless message of sacrifice, service, and humanity exemplified by Imam Hussain (A.S.). He praised the women members of AAYAS Association Budgam for their hard work and dedication, stating that such initiatives strengthen social unity, compassion, and communal harmony. He also expressed hope that the spirit of selfless service displayed during Muharram would continue to inspire future generations.
The leadership of JKECC and JKTA congratulated the AAYAS Association Budgam team for the successful conduct of the Sabeel and for promoting the spirit of selfless service, unity, brotherhood, and communal harmony among the people. (JKNS)
