Srinagar, July 20 (JKNS): A labourer who had sustained critical injuries after falling from an under-construction house in Pulwama district on Sunday has succumbed to his injuries in Srinagar hospital on Monday morning.
Officials told news agency JKNS that the deceased has been identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Shah, son of Ghulam Mohi-ud-Din, a resident of Mitrigam, Pulwama.
They said the injured labourer was initially shifted to District Hospital Pulwama after the accident on July 19 (Sunday), from where he was referred to SMHS Hospital Srinagar in critical condition for advanced treatment.
However, despite the efforts of doctors, he succumbed to his injuries at the hospital on Monday.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and further proceedings have been initiated. (JKNS)
