Tangdhar, August 8: Promoting the spirit of NCC, discipline, leadership and national service, Lieutenant Colonel Shashank Parmar, Administrative Officer, conducted a two-day visit to educational institutions across the Tangdhar sector, where he interacted with NCC cadets, students, teaching staff and school administrations.
On the first day, August 7, Lt. Col. Parmar visited Government Degree College Tangdhar, Army Goodwill School (AGS) Hajinar, Boys Higher Secondary School Tangdhar, Boys High School Khawpora and High School Dildar Bhatpora.
On the second day, he visited Government Boys Higher Secondary School Khawarpora, Government Boys Higher Secondary School Taad Karnah and Government Boys High School Teetwal, interacting with students and NCC cadets and encouraging them to actively participate in NCC activities.
During the interactions, Lt. Col. Parmar highlighted the important role of NCC in developing discipline, leadership qualities, confidence, teamwork and a spirit of national service among youth. He encouraged students, particularly those from border areas, to make the best use of educational and NCC opportunities and remain committed to their goals.
The visiting officer also spoke about career opportunities through NCC and the Armed Forces, motivating students to pursue their education with dedication and maintain strong moral values.
School administrations, NCC officers, teaching staff and students warmly welcomed Lt. Col. Parmar and appreciated the continued efforts towards youth engagement and mentorship in the border region.
The students actively participated in the interactive sessions and enthusiastically shared their views and aspirations. The two-day outreach concluded with a message of discipline, leadership, patriotism, unity and service to the nation, leaving a positive and motivating impact on the students and NCC cadets.
